The Grizzlies went on an 11-3 run coming out of this timeout, so I think he succeeded in firing them up to some extent. But it was too little, too late.
So they got rid of Ty Jones and got Marcus Smart, knowing Ja was out for 25 for enthusiastic gun ownership. Knowing Jones had experience running point. What was the point of this trade?
