ngl I’m kinda starting to want getsy to stay and eberflus to go. I’m not 100% sold yet, but if we just fire everyone I think that might just start the shitty coach cycle all over again
I think getsy is adapting and learning a lot better than eberflus is. In the last three games Fields has been healthy, he’s getting Fields on runs and the only questionable playcalls really were the 3 and out vs the lions before the two minute warning. Even then calling run-run-pass was the right thing to do, and tbh just got unlucky with tyler scott barely missing the pass.
Eberflus on the other hand was playcalling for serious defensive collapses vs the lions and broncos. He’s supposed to be a defensive head coach, but the bears still have a terrible pressure rate and are bottom ten in takeaways. It’d be one thing if the d had bad players, but JJ + kyler + eddie + brisker + TJ + Tremanie + Montez is a pretty serviceable and talented roster, and the bears are giving up the 4th most points per game. Thats really, really bad for a “defensive” head coach
You fire Eberflus and Getsy with that information is what ya do
