Zach and Russillo are my faves. Bilas, Aldridge, a good Woj bomb now and then.

Bontemps is solid but I can’t help shaking the feeling that in his twitter thumbnail he looks like [10] guy that just hot boxed with Snoop

Its hard to lump Retired NBA Players together. There are ex-players who really understand the game and others who are Kenrick Perkins. There are players who respect the current generation and players who view their era as better and want modern players to play like they did.

I like the retired players who know the game and enjoy the modern era for what it is.

Zach Lowe is the perfect blend of numbers and eye test. He also conveys what he sees better than anyone else both through articles and in podcasts.

Tim Legler is a rare ray of light showing actual basketball analysis in a network that is largely clickbait trash and hot takes.

Zach Lowe too, but more on his columns and less on TV.

Beat writers are fun because most of the time they are very closely related to your team. It’s also funny how divisive they make fanbases, I feel like every team has a couple that some hate and others love.

Zach Lowe and my local guys. I find browsing the Ringer via RSS frustrating so I almost always ignore anyone on there.

I think Bill Simmons is kinda divisive but i like him a lot.

Reggie Miller is a class act through and through.

How is Kenny Beecham not included in this post

I love his enthusiasm, measured takes and overall positivity about basketball. His joy is infectious and it reminds you why basketball is meant to be enjoyed. His “Enjoy Basketball” newsletter is awesome too.
