On every ranking and tier list Steph is put above KD. Why is that? Here are their stats since the start of last season

KD: 29.6/6.8/5.1 on 67.2% TS

Steph: 29.5/5.8/5.8 on 66.1% TS

KD has been playing just as well as Steph (arguably better) but he doesn’t ever rated higher. Why?

Because KD had to crawl over to Steph to win a ring. He hasn’t come lose since he left. Curry didn’t need KD, KD needed Curry.

Do you really not understand this?

Two rings w/o KD, 4 total, maybe the greatest 3pt shooter ever, only Unanimous MVP, took a broken franchise to one of th greatest runs in history.

    Numbers ain’t shit.

I feel like I’m the only person who’s both a Jokic fanboy and KD fanboy lol

For some reason most other Jokic fans on here suck off Steph constantly when it’s not really returned in favor lol

For me personally? It’s Steph’s playmaking and limited offensive support. I’m not pretending like KD has had it easy so far with the Suns, but he’s had a few games with Booker, and the Suns as a unit look more competitive than GSW right now. Klay’s talent is fading and Draymond isn’t as good on defense anymore.

So Steph makes his teammates so much better but he’s also better because he has no help?

Can’t have it both ways lol

Since when does playing with a worse team inherently make you a better player?

I swear I see this logic constantly on this sub(with Luka as well) and it’s so severely flawed

It’s not “playing with a worse team” it’s “winning with a worse team,” and I think that Steph getting this Warriors team to a manageable record is more impressive than Durant doing something similar with a slightly better roster.

I would say because Curry changed the game too. Durant is one of the most gifted scorers to ever play, but he has not changed the game the way Curry has.

He has changed the game. Every tall guy that wants to shoot and handle the ball? Yea, that’s because of durant.

I think the better question is why does Steph Curry have to constantly prove himself at this point in his career?

Steph doesn’t have shit to prove to anyone with a brain. Won before KD, with KD, and after KD. What has KD done without the greatest regular season basketball team of all time?

KD is an all time great scorer but hopping on Steph’s bandwagon to win a couple of easy rings tarnishes his legacy.

Def not hard carrying. CP3 and the Warriors bench has been amazing all year. Meanwhile every single starter has a negative plus minus for the year.

Steph’s shot the ball historically great clip but the rest of his game has slipped noticeably.
