Despite amazing scoring still, Steph’s playmaking metrics have completely fallen through the floor this year so far
Literally the only Warriors players getting big minutes who are shooting above average from 3 are Dario Saric (38%) and Draymond (46%, but he’s only 11/24 on the season and being left open). Klay is up to 36%, but CP is only 33% and Wiggins is a pathetic 27% lol. So he’s getting fewer playmaking opportunities, while also having his teammates shoot poorly when he passes to them. I’m sure Dray and CP’s assists are boosted substantially because they can pass to Steph. The Warriors really don’t have a great roll-man either, so Steph is just stuck passing to sub-par shooters and a slumping Klay.
Steph’s on-off numbers are negative but still the best of the starting lineup. He’s -2, Klay and Dray are a -3 and Wiggins is -7.5 lmao. CP3 is a +5.6, it almost makes me wonder if Kerr should just bench Wiggins and start CP and Steph together, then have Steph anchor the bench units while CP rests.
Some of the late of the game turnovers were truly on the other guys not knowing what to do when Steph Curry was getting blitzed. He has been having issues with them throughout the year but the post is clearly in response to the end of the game turnovers which goes back to my first point.
Had they not won a title a couple years ago, I wonder if the FO would’ve started a rebuild around Steph. Poole would never get a massive contract. And maybe draymond and/or Klay get traded before their value went down.
Tbh 4.1 is solid for a shooting guard
Warriors have actually been good with him off the floor and cp3 on , his defebce also has regressed from last year and last year was worse then 22. And he’s MUCH slower he can barely get to the rim n finish the last few years the % of his shots that are run attemots gone down a lot. It’s been covered cos he started the year hot shooting 48% untill yesterday but when it drops to 43%~ it’ll be more obv he’s declining.
It’s almost as if players declined as they grow older
The assists are down because of CP3. He’s playing off ball more when he plays with CP, who has started about half the games this season.
The turnovers are fueled by dementia that’s been spurred on by his old age
The first half of your comment: 100% correct, all the assists are going to CP and the rest go to Draymond
The second half: LOL

That’s what happens when your team is playing bad basketball and your coaching staff has no answers. Free Steph Curry.
Wait I thought he was the best player in the league and was gonna win MVP??
Bring back Jordan Poole
That’s because his starting teammates can make a shot. Both Wiggins and Klay Thompson have been in deep slump. Until two weeks ago, the only Warrior players to score more than 20 points in a game were Curry and Saric (and he did it once)
You get an assist when your teammates sink a bucket. Also, Wiggins has been terrible inside the paint.
