I literally see his name popping up in discussions regarding “solid” wings…but what has he actually accomplished in his career to merit that? If he’s not injured, he’s trade fodder for bigger pieces. I’ve been watching the NBA since before he was drafted and seriously do not recall him EVER having relevance outside of being a trade piece or a joke about him warming benches. If he came to my favorite team (which they traded him in the past lol), I know they’re about to rebuild the slow, painful way.

This sounds like hating, but there has been no other narrative or highlights from Gallo other than being a news piece for a trade or an ACL injury. Have you seen differently? I’m genuinely curious to know if someone can change my mind on this player.

    He’s a career 15ppg on 43/38/88. That’s pretty solid.

He was a consistent long range shooter and solid offensive player for a long time. Was a top two scorer on a Nuggets team that won 57 games. Injuries have led to a pretty steep fall-off for him in recent years, which isn’t abnormal for a dude in his mid-30’s.

A solid career no doubt, he was paid well and is a basketball legend in his hometown. No need to hate.

But why is he held in regards as a good player if he hasn’t won anything of merit? You would think a good player would equal wins and accolades, not a role on the bench pretending you’re contributing.

Did you not just read that he was a key piece on a 57-win team? Not every good role player is gonna win constantly either. Crawford never made a Conference Finals, is he subpar now?

Jamal Crawford came off the bench for a reason. Having a defensive sieve as your starting 2 guard is a great way to get lit up.

He’s always been a solid player with stints of good play. He can barely move now but he’s still capable of going off. Watch some of the Sixers/Hawks series to see a mostly washed Gallo shit all over the Sixers.

Bro just take a look at Bball ref, your eyes are broken. Solid 10 year starter, now he’s a vet bench piece

In his prime he had an incredible knack for getting to the line. Too injury prone. Very good player who could have been a great player if it wasn’t for that.
