Tons of potential, but it looks like they’ve landed on the injury list for a good while. I remember when all the Ball brothers were coming up they were touting their home-grow training routine lead mostly by his dad.
Can’t help but think training with an amateur trainer (Ball Senior) seriously messed them up. Bad form, poor training regimes, etc. I distinctly recall a video of the Ball brothers doing a garage workout and thinking they had shit form.
If they had gone the basketball academy route they might be holding up better, it might have helped at the very least.
IDK. Seems like some of these guys put in some insane amounts of work to get to where they are. And then the grind of the seasons. It takes a toll on the body and most of them just wear their bodies down. Some guys wear down faster than others.
I played sports everyday all day I’m 31 and never had anything more than rolled ankles…I played like Rodman…like reckless ! I really don’t think there is anyway to prove how peoples bodies break…Just like Kobe I could tear an Achilles at any time and there is no way of knowing when.
You can’t criticize Lavar without dumbasses screaming about how 2 of his sons got into the league and not engaging with whatever you say. They just ignore Lamelo’s having injuries stack up a shit load while Lonzo’s career has been on pause for a year and a half after being plauged with injuries.
In my opinion, it’d be a miracle if their injuries weren’t caused (or, at least, heavily influenced by) the shit quality BBB shoes he forced them to wear and the God awful workout forms like you mentioned.
Maaaaaaaaan what are you talkin’ about
Lonzo 1st team All-NBA, won 3 championships in 1 season at UCLA, nevah lost. nevah lost
LaMelo 0st team All-NBA. that’s better than 1st team, that dude with the big floppy ears had to invent an award good enough for LaMelo
LiAngelo has so much TALENT that he gonna be the first player to get -1st team All-NBA once he gets out of the G-Spot League
NEVAH LOST
A good amount of young athletes are experiencing injuries or the wear and tear that are seen in old players.
This is probably due to social media giving spotlight to high school athletes, the pressure put on student athletes by schools to succeed, the internal pressure to get in the big leagues, etc. now you add the possibility of making money in the ncaa via nil. You will see a lot of overtraining and playing which will breakdown the body faster.
No…people just don’t like Lavar so they try to make it seem like he hurt his kids.
In reality he’s a good father that got 2/3 of his sons to the nba through hard work and dedication
