The federal government should charge Texas for the costs to remove the unauthorized barriers. The fact that the rest of us are paying for their idiocy is appalling.

Even if that wasn’t true, this particular anti-illegal immigration measure is excessively cruel and deserves to be taken down.
What Republicans never admit to is that illegal immigration is a civil violation, not a criminal violation. Putting them in cages should not be legal. Attempting to cause them bodily harm if they make that civil violation should certainly not be legal.
Nothing civil about the GOP aka Nazi’s ~ inflicting harm is a feature not a bug
This is a weird liberal talking point. If they don’t stop anybody why would you oppose them?
They said it fucks up wildlife… did you read the whole comment?
I don’t believe that this is an honest argument. The outrage is clearly about immigration. “Animal migration” is only brought up later when somebody says “if the walls don’t work why do you oppose them?”
TBF I’m against the walls. Because I believe they do stop people. Because that’s what walls do.
Because they are a tremendous waste of money?
It doesn’t stop people from crossing the border and it costs taxpayer money to build. We have enough wasted taxpayer money in this country. Let’s cut out what we can.
I don’t understand. Since when can the Feds just waltz onto private property and destroy fencing on it?
The 4th Amendment:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The wire was put there by Texas. It’s not the property of the land owner.
Texas is pouring on a theatrical production to say the border isn’t being controlled by the Biden administration. The Biden administration is removing the props for the theater production.
There are other laws as well. I’m guessing but it seems likely that property purchased on the border would have some strings attached.
The you guys should have made edits since. Bc the world sun that simple no more
