I just watched Friendship this weekend and i thought it was fantastic with excellent writing. Same with Bring Her Back. I wonder what those have in common…
I wanna watch Friendship, but there’s something about it that’s keeping me from watching it. Like I feel like there’s gonna be some insane twist that turns it from a dark comedy to straight-up horror or something.
It’s brilliant, and i promise that nothing totally sinister happens. That being said, it’s like all the cringiest episodes of the office all rolled into one.
I figured there was plenty of cringe with Tim Robinson
Which, can I just say that I’m happy for him. Like he was just a writer on SNL, then was a cast member, then created his own pretty successful Netflix sketch show, and now he’s onto movies.
Isn’t it a standard now? When was the last time we got a movie with a “wow” script?

Wow scripts are risky and thus bad for Hollywood. You should put yourself in their shoes and understand how difficult it must be for them
