I think we can only make reasonable choices about things that are close enough to ourselves; not about very far-away entities.
There are forensic fingerprints that match a video to an image sensor. Maybe they could be faked by a sophisticated actor but let’s be honest: the people watching these videos aren’t checking that closely.
