This is an objective, unbiased ranking in the same vein as the NFL Title Belt. As such, the number 1 ranked team will always be the same as the current NFL Title Belt holder.
This is Week 18 of the NFL Title Rankings of the 2025 season. See here for last week’s results.
9 of the 16 games (MORE THAN HALF!) ended with the lower ranked team winning. The largest jump was the Bucs who jumped 20 spots after they beat the Panthers. The Raiders are the lowest ranked team to win their game.
The Falcons beat the Saints to take first and the NFL Title Belt. Because the Falcons did not make the playoffs, first place and the NFL Title Belt will remain with the Falcons. The Seahawks are ranked 3 and are the highest ranked team to make the playoffs. This means that the Super Bowl winner will end the post-season ranked 3.
The Raiders beat the Chiefs to leave last. The Colts lost to the Texans to fall to last.
