There’s a Democrat in NC making Republicans sweat by switching her party affiliation from D to R. It’s actually the dumbest thing ever.

Um Ackshually, gerrymandering has nothing to do with this one. As a Senator, he represents his entire state, and the borders of his “district” don’t change.

However, “ignorant populace” may be spot on.

Except the gerrymandering means there’s no local pressure. So technically you are correct but it allows it to continue.

Because he’s Republican. Why else would a bunch of old people vote for an old racist who wants to get rid of their “entitlements”?

You need to get beyond the old people part. There are tons of 18-35 year olds who voted for this bullshit we’re currently stuck in. I was at a buffalo wild wings in Nov after the election and while showing a UFC fight the orange Nazi was brought in to sit with fellow shitstain joe rogan…and a table of guys who weren’t old enough to order beer we’re chanting U-S-A

It’s generational voting. The kind of “My daddy voted Republican so I do too!” bullshit mixed with propaganda, mixed with racism, with a hint of just being downright stupid on top.
