It probably is something you can feel if your skin is dry and/or cold. It does stretch and become more pliable when warm and wet.
Love to see i’m not the only one who puts visual emphasis on the word “warm”, just to encapculate the feeling 😁
Elevate the experience with a towel warmer and/or space heater in the bathroom
Two words: underfloor heating.
When walking around barefoot, warm tiles are so much nicer than cold ones.
Poor person’s solution is living in a place with plastic flooring.

Maybe. I think everyone shares some traits, but the hypersensitivity to physical sensations and dislike of transitions probably makes us do it more often than others.

Take a real shower.
The pie chart doesn’t indicate the total length of the shower, so it is feasible (and in fact the reality) that the little slice where I’m actually cleaning contains a real shower.
That would mean approximately 25 minutes of showering and 2,375 minutes of warmth.
