      I was listening to a podcast about dead internet theory the other day, and they talked about some studies that were finding the the internet in general is near 50% bot activity now. I’m sure twitter is much worse than the average.

        Safer to assume that with any major social media platform. The irony being boomers were the ones who told us that we shouldn’t believe everything on the internet but that’s the main group that does.

        Thankfully my mom still carries that uncertainty but everyone can’t be so lucky

            The cause is money. Hippies were able to gain a ton of financial gain post 60s. Once ppl start earning they care more about their own well being than the issues of the lower class. It’s exactly why I don’t like hippies. Sex, drugs, and rock and roll are what they lived by so them becoming selfish assholes makes perfect sense where their lives where predicated on did interests
