Absolutely. Unfortunately all the leaders of the 3-5 media conglomerates controlling 90%+ of US legacy news and a sizeable chunk of new media are also weak bitches, ideologically aligned with the fascist kakistocracy, or both 😮💨

Really we should be filing anti trust against anyone consolidating that much media. Lena Khan never got a chance to finish her work, which is one of my greatest disappointments from Biden/Harris/Dems fucking up the 2024 election.

I understand this is a vast overreach of power and something bad.
But with thousands of systems failing in the nation, and hundreds of political scandals just as bad that were not reported by ABC news. I’m happy to watch them fight, as a little treat, while the nation falls down .
But they will not fight, they will fold and people will forget about it soon enough. And I will not have my enjoyment
