That last one, they drank from the poisoned chalice of ‘Multiverse.’

Nothing matters, nobody really dies (and if they do, you just jump over to another universe where they’re alive), and every cliffhanger is just an amped-up dream sequence with fancier CGI.

I miss the old, simple, reality-based stories of muscled aliens with glitchy superpowers and bad love-lives.

To be fair, Deadpool’s entire premise is that nothing inherently matters because he’s just a comic book character (or movie character). But stuff still matters to him.

After seeing the last one and how they made up an original character just for some petulant beef Ryan and his wife had with her other ongoing project, I find myself not really caring (if you’re confused, Nicepool is the character and the beef is about It Ends With Us (it’s a rabbit hole) Long story very short, they made Nicepool so they could vicariously murder her coworker because he… thought it was tone deaf to try to market It Ends With Us as a cutesy romcom)

I saw the mask slip and Ryan is really just a petulant high schooler with clique logic rotting his brain and I can’t not see it now.

Massive sellout, only in it for the money. Started a cellular company and made promises to never sell out, gained a following, then immediately sold to a major corp. Dude is faker than trump’s hair.

As a straight dude I would still rather be in the fuck pile with him than wherever you are planning on going. That’s not a blahaj commentary, just a notice of your apparently bad taste. You can be a sellout and still have great content: see Matt stone and Trey Parker.

Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. It would be a nice twist since everyone thinks the doomsday movies will reboot things.

The actor-producer didn’t give any additional details on whether the film would be another solo Deadpool installment or more of an ensemble film, with his chaotic antihero becoming more of a supporting player.

I’d like to see the former, considering that the first three were already team-up movies to varying degrees. I know that Ryan Reynolds’ version of the character really benefits from having multiple allies to bounce dialogue off of, but I wouldn’t mind them trying something new now that we’re three movies deep.

I mean, why wouldn’t they? Deadpool prints money. Even as some people are getting tired of the mainline MCU outside of the core fans, I think Deadpool still brings in new audiences.

I don’t think he should be in the Avengers (though, I don’t know how the comics do it, I only watch the films and I’m a bit behind), but I’d like to see him appear in more MCU movies outside of his own. I think Ryan Reynolds can hold his own with any MCU actor, you just don’t wanna have him upstage the main ones and/or wear people out on his brand.

Well I guess the good news is he won’t need too much make up for any mask off shots, at this point.

    Zing!
