Spinning a web of spectacular set pieces together with mature emotional stakes and Tom Holland’s soulful performance, Brand New Day is a promising reset that portends Spidey will remain sticky on the big screen for years to come.
F1: The Movie has 97% on RT. What the Fuck.
I don’t trust RT. It’s owned by big media companies and isn’t independent. Very easy to manipulate as seen with the Melania movie: https://piefed.ca/c/movies/p/492415/what-s-going-on-with-rottentomatoes
That means ‘from the reviews submitted to RT, 97% reviews were generally favourable’.
It doesn’t mean the film is ‘nearly perfect’.
The same movie has 68 rating on metacritic.
I agree. Should at least be a 98%. Fucking amazing movie!
Y’all have fun with this.
I still love how he walks out the laundromat singing “the sun is high”, when it’s clearly just after sunset.
& the new day wrestling team
already seen it. I…I don’t know where they’re going with this and it leaves a lot more questions than answers. For comic book fans they do a VERY deep cut on the main antagonist and they kinda get it wrong. for the MCU it poses more questions than answers, like, a LOT more questions than answers and I’m kinda nervous where they take it.
I haven’t watch any MCU stuff for the last several years. I’m the type to want to see the stuff that happened before, but lost the motivation to do so. As a result, just been skipping all the MCU stuff post Endgame.
For people who do watch it there’s people who don’t care about having watched everything, and just hop in because it has their favorite super heroe.
But, for your case were you keeping up with MCU franchise leading up to Spider-Man? I wonder what percentage of viewers kept up with MCU and what percentage are hopping in to watch it despite not having kept up with the franchise for years.
Its just a last minute setup for doomsday and the secret wars and mutant saga pseudo reboot.
We just got back and I honestly found the movie boring and I was able to spot the villain within seconds of the character coming on screen. I admittedly haven’t seen the other Holland spidey movies and am pretty much done with the vanilla superhero genre, but I certainly didn’t go into the movie anticipating that I wouldn’t like it.
