$650 is way more reasonable than the previous $900.
    Worth considering.

The extra $250 was being charged by a US reseller.
With Fair Phone selling direct to the US now, it’s available for MSRP.
I can’t say how “cheep” $650 is to you.

I am getting this after I am sick of my broken pixel 7a.

I do wish they provide better software update though, Android 15 is two versions behind current version :( .

With the direction in which Android is developing, I don’t think you’d be missing out on a whole lot of worthwhile features. I’d rather have a steady stream of security patches on a version that is not yet EOL.

      Ships with 16.
      17 only just released.
And they promise software support through 2033. Though that’s a vague term, not sure about full version updates.

from the fairphone 6+ specifications page under “operating system”:

Six major Android updates promised, until 2032

        looks promising to me!
