My sister (who lives several continents away) sent me a huge LEGO pirate ship . The set number 31367 31387 for those interested. I spent the evening building with the help of my 13 year old. I also took two or three drams.
I have no regrets.
Fucking goals dude
Congrats! What are drams?
Edit: found answer, shot glass, in britain, apparently
What set? 31367 is a duplicate egg base part.
67
All good. You’d be surprised how many customers or business men I’ve seen buying Gunpla in Akihabara or Fukuoka with gray hair when I was visiting.
Thats the act of a man with boundless riches!
Time spent with those you love is well spent. Sounds fun.
Will you keep it built or take it apart and built it again another day or take it apart and use the pieces to build something else? When my kids were young they built them and then took them apart and built other things. Now no one seems to do that.
who lives several continents away
This is the only way I can understand this clause

OP throwing shade on us all that his sister is a research scientist partying with the Penguins down under.
The huge pirate ship sailed itself to OP. It even had to fight off some penguins.
The santa clause
Santa’s in North Canada. H0h-0h0 postal code.
Obviously, this is his summer cabin.
Dram makes me think someone is in the UK and someone is Down Under.
That still only counts as one

You’re close.
You forgot about Atlantis.
Hm. I was thinking Australia but isn’t that at most just one continent away, like Antarctica? Not sure how English language works in that respect.
Anyhow, happy 50th to OP!
I turned 54 this year and went to Legoland in Billund, 50 years to the month since I was last there. Found the exact same street model that my dad took cine film of.
My son has wanted to go to billund since he was four. It’s coming up sometime soon.
I fail to see this as being dull. This sounds fucking lit.
Congrats, I wish my 50th to be similar.
I believe you mean 31387!
But that is a peak birthday!
You are absolutely correct. I updated the post and I totally do not need glasses. At all.
Thank you! I was scrolling through the comments for the correct set number!
happy birthday, I spent my last birthday building the orange Lego cat with my kids, 10/10 birthday.
Sorry Sir, that’s not dull - that’s fucking awesome! I now have the urge to get myself a new set
Please post pictures of the completed set.
