One eyewitness said the scene was so chaotic that screaming could be heard from the other end of the beach.

      Seems to be a global problem: people reserve spaces with towels for several hours and then are murderous if they are displaced.

              If that is a meme, I’ve never heard of it… I thought saving seats with a towel was common around the world. USA if that matters.
