These small e-readers are cool, but I think 3.97" is way too small.

Too small, but I’m seriously considering the Boox Palma 3 as an “always in my pocket” offline e-reader and MP3 player. I could do that with retired smartphones, but the e-Ink screens are so nice.

I love the idea of an ereader but I do most of my reading online on websites like spacebattles and royalroad. Would I be able to use this for that, through wifi of course? Or should I just stick with my phone/pc.

Assuming it works like the XTEINK X3 (with Crosspoint), not directly. There’s no web browser, so you’d need to download/convert articles and then you could send them wirelessly to the device. Definitely worth it for long form articles you’re going to spend some time reading, but probably tedious if it’s short form stuff you want regularly updated.

Used to read a lot in Royal Road, got bored from the clichéd LitRPG, though I was surprised to find Dungeon Crawler a royal road story in every bookstore. I still follow one story from Royal Road though.

Anyway whenever I travel and want to read a royal road story I simply download the chapters. You can convert them to an epub.

I expect one the size of a micro SD any day now.

Expensive but I recently saw e-ink tokens and love this new innovation https://www.backerkit.com/projects/lynxteam/electronic-e-ink-token-for-magic-the-gathering

Ill stick to having physical normal tcg card tokens vs drawing them with the white board erasables.
