Here in Australia, our only two refinerys are owned by Ampol and they’re raking it in, mega profits.
But then I have an electric car and solar panels on my roof to charge them and only 25% of new cars are EVs with 75% of new cars diesel and gasolines, so we’re awash with stupid people (we have over 200 models of EV o chose from in Australia)
And the pockets of Big Corrupt Corps.
Don’t forget the politicians they bribe! I mean lobby.
Don’t forget the oil dictatorships.

The stock price went up a lot recently so even I made some money out of this
Which is offset by the additional cost to life you have to bear. As long as the goods you buy, like food, have been delivered by a diesel lorry, that cost comes right back. Plus all of the additional cost to society due to climate change, like forest fires, which we need to pay from our tax money.
But as long as the economy keeps growing it’s good for us all because all the wealth trickles down, right?
Right?!
Of course. The profit I made in 10 years wouldn’t even cover what I spend in a week.
