I’m not sure of the term for them but specifically I am looking for flowers that grow as grass. Something about 2-4 inches tall and a very narrow stem. Any help would be appreciated.
White clover fits the bill. The term you’re looking for is probably wildflowers or flowering lawn replacements.
“Flowering ground cover” may work as well
I literally just want the flower. The current weather where I am is making all of the grass die so I can’t get any locally.
The flower and not the seed?
Correct
Can you expand on why you need them?
My suggestion is try dried flowers. They come in smaller varieties but I’d expect expensive shipping since they’re very delicate.
A flower shop is your best bet. They don’t travel very well.
Creeping thyme is something I’m looking at
Oddly enough, that’s what my ex-roomate used to shout out before going out to stalk a girl he liked.
There is something called Japan Meadow (depending on your country it may have a different name: Prato Giapponese in Italian, Gazon japonais in French…) which is a mix of small flowers and grass to replace a classic lawn. It’s readily available as seeds here in France, maybe you can find something similar?
