Why did they take so long to make that call?
In a real tournament this is true, but all these games are also regular season games so a team that’s out of the running isn’t just going to bend over and play their reserves, they still want to win because it’s a regular season game.
A fringe playoff/play-in team isn’t just going to lose a game and act like it’s not a big deal.
It’s crazy, every other sport I watch the refs have no problem changing their call after looking at a replay, but NBA refs treat that shit like getting called out by their wife and just dig in deeper no matter the evidence against them.
It’s maddening. Makes video review useless 90% of the time.

You don’t think they were locked in and that’s the only reason the 7 foot SG on OKC was able to make a turnaround 3 from the edge of the baseline with 1.6 seconds left on the clock?
I guess the Warriors just didn’t want it enough and they didn’t give 110% to leave it all out on the field, they didn’t lose because of the X and O’s. they lost because of the Jim and Joes.

Unpopular opinion but I’m a big fan of the yearly City Jersey. Let the designers go wild, try new colour schemes and layouts, sports are supposed to be fun, it’s not fun for the Celtics to have the exact same jersey every year for 70 years. Speaking of which Celtics city jersey looks great!
Everybody loves the mystery box
Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry, taken 2nd and 4th by the Chicago Bulls. They were super high on these two high school phenoms hoping they would lead them back to the playoffs for the first time since MJ left.
Career wise Chandler was not seen as a bust, but for the Bulls they were both busts. Chandler was basically given away, but at least they got a good trade for Curry because the Knicks (who else) overpaid for him
I’m sure if he asked they would have let him attend a ceremony on a future date.
I’m glad Suggs is playing well. He was getting so much hate by people who got amnesia about how long it takes PGs to develop in the NBA.
