Currently have a Casio DBC-611 (Silver colourway) on my wrist as I write this and I’m loving it. It’s adorably retro and it’s got all sorts of lovely little gimmicks:
- Day of the week in several languages
- Perpetual calendar up to 2099
- DST toggle
- Second time zone
- Toggleable button press beep
- Storage of 25 phone numbers (all settings/data wiped on battery replacement every ~3 years)
- 4-function calculator (you can save a constant and accumulate repeated calculations to a result)
- Conversion between two currencies (you can input one rate and toggle conversion direction)
- 5 alarms (daily, monthly, annually)
- Hourly time signal (toggleable)
- Stopwatch with split time

If you’re not chasing that particular air of sophistication that comes with a fancy/dress watch, the not-so-rugged quirky practicality of this Databank is absolutely wonderful! Other styles include the classic CA-53W or the new CA-53WF variants with great colourways (and an admittedly harder to read inverted LCD display). The new “Casi-oaks” are pretty nice too.
The Credit Suisse logo is the hilarious cherry on top of this ridiculous, funky cake.
