I think it’s more of a mushroom, but point taken.

Oh, thanks for that tip! I’ll edit it right now.
“Hell in a Handbasket” was the theme song at my most recent birthday party! Yay! You clearly have excellent taste!!!
This artist is a friend of mine, and you should definitely check out this if you liked that:
The “We Were Here” series.
Hello from Denver where it was 70 degrees yesterday, and is supposed to be 68 today. This ain’t right.
I feel like they’re lowkey body shaming. Or it was made by stoners.
Traitor? Traitor to humanity. Traitor to democracy. …to science…to women… the list goes on… But that word almost doesn’t seem evil enough. Scum?
Even being at 1%, just outside of totality is completely different. Yes, you can still see it, but it’s still a lot of sunlight.
Here’s the answer to your actual question though: https://www.space.com/37878-solar-eclipse-2024-path-of-totality-maps.html
GenX here, we got mentioned twice - yay? Yeah, we don’t exist…and I think we’re mostly ok with that.
Is it domestic if it’s in a restaurant? Isn’t that just appetizers with a side of assault?
And here’s the Firefly theme. The only song I think I’ve air-violined to. So much nostalgia…
It’s a docudrama about New Orleans right after Katrina. A great, but difficult and disturbing watch. It was mostly filmed locally and each episode was named after a song and featured a local band. It was also a fundraiser.

Hi all! I’m new here, so lmk if this is out of line, but what if we did a short story since December is generally busy for folks? Maybe a selection from “Stories of Your Life and Others” by Ted Chiang, or “The Machine Stops” by E.M. Forster?
Thank you for this post - I’m now aware of this community (and subscribed) and will join you all for some reading fun in January!
If time is a problem in December, you could consider having it be a “short story” month. Like maybe a selection from “The Story of Your Life and Others,” or something like that.
It has my all time favorite TV theme song too (ok, maybe tied with Trème).
The movie is great, but it makes more sense after you’ve watched the series.
Well, they got married in Alabama, so yeah, I guess so.
I’m an extrovert. That’s not the problem. This is social bullying. Please don’t frame this as “extrovert” behavior. This is reprehensible social interaction. As an extrovert I would NEVER talk about personal experiences at work. I would NEVER ask anyone to participate in my conversations unless they clearly wanted to. Stop conflating extroversion with bullying.
