  • I upvote things that required effort or present seemingly honest thoughts that are are not dismissive against anyone. This includes jokes, L takes, W takes, anything.

I don’t downvote much. Mostly when people engage in demagogy or don’t read post/comment they respond to, as I hate with a passion both weaponised ignorance and twisting words.

If I don’t agree with a post or comment, IMO there is already function for that and it’s called reply. Maybe I am the one in the wrong after all, downvoting and moving on won’t let me check.

Also hi. You decided to do this after responding to me. Have an upvote for effort shown ;p

I am sorry for your loss but, you are not responsible for troubles of others. You tried for a year or two. That’s a lot. It seems you went further for that friend than most people would. Sometimes, we are not able to help others, no matter how hard we try.

I know it’s not my place to say that but I’ve seen people I know get hit with the same kind of guilt, slowly but surely tearing at them and I don’t really want anyone else to be in this place.

    Terraria. Hate me.

I am not the fan of looking up guides and other info out of the game, and I also kiiiinda suck in full sandbox due to, generally, not being good at setting my own targets.

Like give me some final task and I am happy to work towards it, but with no target whatsoever I am kinda lost.

However, last I played Terraria was decade ago so stuff may have changed. xD

My arguments against EV, not sorted by anything:

    1. It’s comfy to feel and hear working engine.
    2. I really dislike automatic gearbox. It feels as if I lost part of control over vehicle and I kinda need it to not go autopilot. Like, me going autopilot, not car.
    3. EV’s seem best for richer people than me living in houses where they can charge them up - charging from station still can be pricer than gasoline.
    4. I can have emergency gas can in the car and if something happen, it will buy me enough range to reach another station. And when I turn off ICE car, it won’t leak it’s fuel, no matter the temps. The last part I will write up at the end.
    5. Where I live, the EV infrastructure is catching fast but it is still really lackluster, and to add to that, even I can feel like 70% safe with infastructure here, it’s not certain for my neighbouring countries so that also limit.

    And about 4:

This winter we had a small funny problem that two TIRs decided to play overtake on a frozen road and crashed, blockimg whole road. People spent 12 hours standing in line and not really able to get out from what I heard. ICE cars once turned off in that scenario would not give a frick about temps, but wouldn’t EVs have problems with their battery discharginf either due to cold or due to fighting the cold?

But all in all, I still would like EV car lol. In my use case - that is either driving in my hometown or driving to the next bigger city over, they make a lot of sense. Although I can’t afford any car anyway xD
