I wanted to argue. I really did. I hate it and I don’t want to connect partner as a word to abusive fucks you mention. But I cannot as they are included. Have an updoot and know you ruined my day ;-;
Fan of breaking echo chambers by being devils advocate. Other than that, centrist. As in in USA I’d be considered left.

However partner can be a driving force for you to start fighting for yourself - an external motivation. And partner can offer a boost to perceived self worth. Enough to enable you to try to fight for yourself.
Win 11 is a trojan horse confirmed

4·1 day agoNaaah, Win 7 was best. They didn’t fuck with control panel, Aero slapped, system was fast, stable and customizable. Win 7 was a system made for the user and felt like future.
8 was, from what I heard, not that bad and 10 entered freefall. 11 got jetpack, but was badly oriented so it boosted itself down.
So no tinted glasses. 7 was actually great.
Huh. Only time I say something is either “watch out, police likes to camp over there” and “…we’re going wrong way”.
The second one came twice. Both times, the driver ignored GPS xD

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are your Lemmy upvoting/downvoting habits? How do you judge posts/comments?
3·7 days agoI upvote things that required effort or present seemingly honest thoughts that are are not dismissive against anyone. This includes jokes, L takes, W takes, anything.
I don’t downvote much. Mostly when people engage in demagogy or don’t read post/comment they respond to, as I hate with a passion both weaponised ignorance and twisting words.
If I don’t agree with a post or comment, IMO there is already function for that and it’s called reply. Maybe I am the one in the wrong after all, downvoting and moving on won’t let me check.
Also hi. You decided to do this after responding to me. Have an upvote for effort shown ;p
Lol. I am liking your posts 'cause you provide much needed whiplash among dominantly politic content, so thanks xD
I am sorry for your loss but, you are not responsible for troubles of others. You tried for a year or two. That’s a lot. It seems you went further for that friend than most people would. Sometimes, we are not able to help others, no matter how hard we try.
I know it’s not my place to say that but I’ve seen people I know get hit with the same kind of guilt, slowly but surely tearing at them and I don’t really want anyone else to be in this place.
Or you could be like my friends and go verbatim because they didn’t understand shit.
…teacher tho knew. I always got a tired but polite smile while she was checking my code lol.
Go there, it works, get pissed it does work, money.
Go there, it doesn’t work, be glad it doesn’t work…so it works, no money?
Terraria. Hate me.
I am not the fan of looking up guides and other info out of the game, and I also kiiiinda suck in full sandbox due to, generally, not being good at setting my own targets.
Like give me some final task and I am happy to work towards it, but with no target whatsoever I am kinda lost.
However, last I played Terraria was decade ago so stuff may have changed. xD

I asked on that point because I didn’t know, so thanks for answer. People are used to driving ICE cars near reserve so it will take time till they learn to not do this with EVs xD
I am asking because I worked in gas station in Poland and we had backup generator. xD
My arguments against EV, not sorted by anything:
- It’s comfy to feel and hear working engine.
- I really dislike automatic gearbox. It feels as if I lost part of control over vehicle and I kinda need it to not go autopilot. Like, me going autopilot, not car.
- EV’s seem best for richer people than me living in houses where they can charge them up - charging from station still can be pricer than gasoline.
- I can have emergency gas can in the car and if something happen, it will buy me enough range to reach another station. And when I turn off ICE car, it won’t leak it’s fuel, no matter the temps. The last part I will write up at the end.
- Where I live, the EV infrastructure is catching fast but it is still really lackluster, and to add to that, even I can feel like 70% safe with infastructure here, it’s not certain for my neighbouring countries so that also limit.
And about 4:
This winter we had a small funny problem that two TIRs decided to play overtake on a frozen road and crashed, blockimg whole road. People spent 12 hours standing in line and not really able to get out from what I heard. ICE cars once turned off in that scenario would not give a frick about temps, but wouldn’t EVs have problems with their battery discharginf either due to cold or due to fighting the cold?
But all in all, I still would like EV car lol. In my use case - that is either driving in my hometown or driving to the next bigger city over, they make a lot of sense. Although I can’t afford any car anyway xD
gas stations don’t work in a blackout,
…do US statioms not have their own generators?

Every single time competitor appeared, they were ignored. Blackberry, Symbian, Windows 8/Mobile.
Microsoft even tried throwing money at app developers to bridge the biggest gap aka apps, but most companies didn’t even want their money, perceiving porting as too troublesome.
