Clippers have the fetish to always win the most embarassing team award.
The Pistons since post 2000’s are basically developing championship caliber role Players to trade to championship teams for 1st round picks, and then turning that into another championship level role player and repeat the whole thing.
Yeah, it wasn’t even Jokic’s best series IMHO since the Suns series was his most dominant. It was more of how Jokic taking out AD’s defense in the paint by just being so much bigger and stronger than him enabled the rest of the Nuggets to go crazy attacking the rim, which caused the Lakers over load the paint and made Denver’s shooters go crazy too.
Jamal Murray was looking like Kobe Bryant averaging 33/5/6 on 53/43/95
Any team whose defense heavily relies on a big to defend the paint falls apart when faced against an offense that goes through a big like Embiid or Jokic.
A non inured Bron could have maybeeee maybeee push it to six. But Denver would have ended in 5 regardless on average.
Bron’s averaging good numbers vs lottery teams but that average goes out of the window vs a contender like Denver or Milwakee.1
It was hilarious watching Davis trying to post up Sabonis or Jokic only to move away from the basket even further.
KD and Booker were taking turns on cooking McDaniels in this game.
KD and Booker were taking turns on cooking McDaniels in the perimeter. Unreal.
Embiid deserved it over Jokic. Jokic is the better player, but you should give the MVP to the man who want it more and is just as valuable to his team during that moment.
Bro, 20 year old Luka was 28/8/9 as a sophomore and was the best player in the clipper series.
Great teams wins championships, shocker.
A center with 50% FG is not that impressive TBH. Jokic averaged 63%FG in the last season.
Hahahahahah hilarious. The announcer was probably seething at the denver Nuggets and it slipped up in his mind.
