Wearing my 1944 waltham type a11… nearly an 80 year old watch and it still tics like a charm. I added a black nato strap to it to give it more of a utilitarian tactical look. I still have the original canvas strap that was in it. Anyways this is my favorite time piece.
70s walthams are super loud my dexter waltham from 1976 tiks the loudest.
Any love for movado? The best part about wearing this watch is the fact that people think I’m looking at the time but I’m looking behind me. I never am into fashion mall watched but this one takes the cake on beauty.
I am not the biggest quartz fan in the world because I love sweeping automatic hand movements but I can get into this museum style watch.
So my dad is a collector of rolexes… hes in landscaping… hes one of the most premeire landscape companies in town and hes a preacher on sundays… he works on multimillion dollar homes… and he wears this exact timex at work and while hes preaching in front of congrigation… he buys em out when he goes to walmart he loves em so much… so that is a good watch…
