$96US to build a 3D printed Stinger shoulder launched missile and now mail ordered drones. Things aren’t looking good.

Everyone is saying that they will be an energy superpower. Can they all be right? It assumes that global warming won’t kill us all and that the move to renewable energy stalls (which brings us to point number one).

Be interesting to see how the economics work for it. They aren’t built overnight and the world is moving faster to renewables every day. It may never be commissioned as it is a white elephant.

Yep Donny has been perpetuating the greatest con job on climate change in order to prop up fossil fuels. Sadly for him, market forces are marching on. He’ll be dead soon but his effect on my grandchildren is unconscionable. Won’t worry the narcissist pedo friend as he doesn’t have a conscience.

I see a lot more hoodies and face masks in our future.

We are getting to the stage where we need laws to say that machines cannot impersonate humans. Synthetic humans are banned.

The trillions being spent on AI without any real evidence that the returns will come is an unprecedented risk. No doubt the Techbros and their like will survive but how others won’t?

I have solar panels, batteries and an EV, have to agree, the oil price is an indirect threat to me as the fluctuations don’t get me day to day.

Finger on the pulse again!

Quite disappointed in him. Always thought he was a reasonable character but using e-mail is such a slap in the face.

Trump picked him because he was pretty and a suck up. That probably means he is vain as well.

Coffee under threat? That should bring action!
The basic statement is that $100m is spent once and is gone or it is spent on a recurring resource. Seems to clear, all the arguments about the evils of solar panels are ignoring that the bill is$100m or $20,000m over 20 years. For a $20b saving, people should be able to afford a few changes. I have.

A dumb question. STDs are still rife.

The apps available on the TV may work when it’s new but quickly become nonfunctional because of a lack of updates. Best to use something else to stream, hopefully something more trustworthy.

I go back further to the OPEC oil crisis of the 1970s, it did the same for me.

Perth to Dunsborough is 250km. What EVs were you looking at that can’t make that distance in a single charge?
I don’t use these things much and I have asked the same question of ChatGPT and DeepSeek with comparable results. Given all the surveillance and theft in the US tech industry, the Chinese have to be worth a run.
