Really? Who is responsible for deciding the course of treatment? Is it the doctors or the computers?

People must be so time poor that this seems a good idea. Having stuff arrive at the door that I didn’t know I wanted and balancing the books afterwards seem like new mystery experience awaiting.

Ta, it seems that HTC have stopped manufacturing as of this year and the U24 stocks are still available but being run down in some markets (I read that as developing countries but it obviously includes the USA 🤔). Trump must have got a fire sale deal on an end of life model. A great deal for everyone!

Made in China?

Good news for all. The tropics will bake while Europe and North America freeze. Looks like the habitable zone is contracting.

There is a line of thought that politicians are smart and know what is what. When you listen to them you realise that may be less than average intelligence.

A whole bunch of guns are problematic, AR15 and similar man killing guns as well as the huge number of hand guns. Just too many lethal weapons in the hands of unstable people.

I understand the business pretty well, my issue is where the money is coming from to pay for it the huge costs. It may be there are enough users to sustain it and at what point will it saturate and stagnate?

I suppose that it is that dependence upon Starlink to boost launch numbers makes me suspicious of the books. The whole thing just feels ponzie scheme.

Haven’t heard that though you need a lot of other launches with space available….

I look at Starlink where currently about 6 spacecraft deorbit a week and need replacement as a huge operational cost. Many SpaceX launches are Starlink launches, it raises the question of whether this is a circular or self fulfilling industry.

Never understood the business model for SpaceX and Starlink. Huge capital and operational costs without a clear understanding of who is paying for it.

I would include SpaceX in that category too.

Sadly you do need somewhere to plug it in.

And I stopped smoking at 13. There are gamblers, drug users and others that can’t stop but if you aren’t in that situation it’s hard to understand how hard it is. Deleting the apps is a must like not having junk food in the house if you are trying to loose weight.

The products are addictive like gambling. That’s why they are loosing court cases now. People can’t stop even if they want to.

I think the problems tend to be overplayed. For most people the BEV is as good as the ICE vehicle. They have a range in excess of 300km with most above 400km, further for city driving. Charging is at night so it is only those longer trips where charging is more inconvenient. I’ve modified my hasty lifestyle a bit to actually enjoy a coffee while charging on those few trips to the big smoke.

I bought an MG4. Pretty cheap and goes well. If VW wants to compete then that’s the target.

Flow batteries eat lithium batteries on paper and they are so scalable too!
Stand to reason, the operating costs of a coal fired power station are immense compared to a renewable energy source. They can’t compete. That’s the major reason that industry doesn’t want to build them.
