A barely functioning Elgin pocketwatch. Parts serials say they were produced in the 1910’s, probably assembled later. Grandma gave it to me from her antique shop, very cool piece even though it’s seen better days.

Can anyone attest to the water resistance of Hamilton’s new watches? I’ve read some posts here saying their WR rating is pretty much a lie and some (not all) will barely hold up to handwashing and high humidity. If they’ve redesigned their watches and have better quality for moisture and water I’d be sold, really hesistant rn tho.
