maybe I’m crazy but I feel like this move would make perfect sense. the team needs to go all-in the next year or two while Rodgers is still playing. and if he does retire soon then having a great wr corps is exactly what we’d need for whatever rookie qb we bring in to replace him. this is exactly what we need

we had a lot of really great picks in that span but also a lot of really terrible picks

based on your definitions, “tanking” is not a thing. however what you call “rebuilding” is essentially the same thing, in that you’re trading away good players and therefore losing more games and getting higher draft picks. that strategy can definitely work
