I mean let’s not say every call. Brown got called for a phantom offensive foul when it should have been a flop call on Suggs.

I remember when the Wizards started 10-3 (they were the 1 seed) Two years ago and went on to only win 35 games. The Pelicans were a 1 seed as well, and partially due to injury only won 42 games and aren’t looking great this year either. I know everybody wants to be overreactionary but 14 games doesn’t mean a trio is going to be the best in the NBA or not. They might prove to be, but anybody that is skeptical after 15 games should have the rights to. There have been many hot start teams that have fallen off cliffs.
This clip is just reaffirmation that we need a Luke Kornet Bench Reaction Cam.
Broom has been looking Draymond-esque with his frustration. Stepping on dudes and elbowing…
You know the Celts are rolling when Hauser has an alley-oop slam.
Pritchard > Lillard
Celtics have the best duo in the NBA… JT and PP
Fast PP Breakout Game!
Celtics played pretty badly by their standards, but they still picked up the win. It’s hard to win in the NBA, and a win is a win. 2-0 in tournament play.
Tatum had one of those moments where it is like “Tatum has been quiet”, and then he proceeds to score 9 straight points.
Right we all know it should be Squid Games × NBA. Make the games actually mean something…
I don’t watch 100% of Pelicans game so take this with a grain of salt, but both have been kind of disappointing this year. Brandon Ingram seems to have mostly plateued. He really hasn’t seemed to take a step past the borderline All-Star player, which is perfectly fine not every player can be a bona-fide star. The big problem is if Ingram isn’t going to play incredibly well they need Zion to be the #1 guy. So far this season Zion hasn’t been the efficiency monster that he had been in the past. He has been fairly inefficient in Post-ups and other spots that he usually would dominate. So between the two of them, they dont really have a good number 1 guy right now which usually separates mediocre teams from good teams. Maybe Zion can get back into rhythm, but until that the Pelicans aren’t going to do much.
Having a team play Barrett, Derozan, Randle, and Mitchell Robinson would certainly be interesting basketball…
I guess you can’t be overreliant on starters if they only play 3 quarters a game each night.
Yeah they legit have a 1st team All NBA player, a 2nd team All NBA player, 2 All Star caliber players, and a 1st team All defense guy that all impact metric love. It honestly is an insane starting five. I think Denver is close but the Celtics lineup is just crazy on paper, and has looked just as good on the court.
2 of them were chase downs on near guaranteed transition baskets too. In a close game like yesterday those plays were very likely the difference in a win and a loss.
I disagree entirely, some of the best rim protectors in the league play helpside defense coming off the corner. Robert Williams, and Giannis as some of the best examples. If you line them up as a more traditional center they are going to be put into more pick and rolls that will sometimes drag them from the hoop. I think playing Wemby at the 4 as a helpside monster is the best way to utilize him.
He was the same archetype as their number 3 pick the year before, Jaylen Brown. An unfinished wing that had loads of untapped potential but was fairly raw. He later took Langford which kind of fit that profile too.
I’m just glad Jackson canceled that visit because after the draft they said Tatum was their pick 100%, but who knows the validity of that especially how it was revealed after the draft and there were rumors that Boston was atleast interested in Jackson some bit.
I thank him everyday that he canceled his workout with the Celtics. A world with him instead of JT would have been tough.
Its basically a holiday and NFL plays tonight.
