Giddey has been ass this year

I guess, I just think of artificial inflation as making a bad team look good. I still think the Thunder are a good team, even though our record might be better than it should be

I don’t know if I’d say “artificially inflated”; other teams get to play bad teams all the time. The East gets to play both the Wizards and Pistons multiple times. Our net rating and point differential still has us as one of the best teams in the league.

I do agree that I don’t think we’ll stay the second seed, though. Our lack of rebounding hurts a lot, and we’ve started the season very hot from three. I think we’ll probably settle around the 4-6 seed

I think “terrible” is really overstating it. The first season of his I looked at was the 2012-13 season, and his opponents’ shooting percentage was about the same as Lance Stephenson’s, and not much worse than Paul George’s

Shai has to be up there. Leading the league in steals, almost a block a game. 5th in defensive win shares behind guys like Gobert and AD, 4th in defensive box plus-minus

Obviously I wouldn’t put him as DPOY but I think he deserves some all-defense consideration

Honestly, Chet might have a shot. Probably unlikely, but 17/8.5/2.5 with 1 steal and almost 2.5 blocks, on 56/43/88 splits is pretty insane for a rookie

There’s just like nothing to go off of right now. Giddey took a picture with a girl that one person on Twitter is claiming is underage. If it turns out to be true then I absolutely hope we release him, but I don’t see why everyone is jumping to it being true right now

Cade had good moments but those turnovers were killer

Shai’s biggest knock is that he didn’t make the playoffs last year, but Luka didn’t even make the play-in. Yes, Luka has performed in the playoffs before, but I don’t know why it’s crazy to say that they’re at least somewhat comparable
