As an outsider looking in, it just seems like the republicans are screaming about trans people and how horrible they are, and how horrible the democrats are for supporting them, while the democrats completely ignores everything about trans people.

However, at least from what I’ve been told, in a lot of places the main obstacle is the grid and not the space. It’s simply not designed to deliver the amount of electricity that is required at the moment. I don’t know if it’s already been dealt with, since I heard that years ago, and obviously, if it hasn’t it’s something that needs to be dealt with anyway at some point.
A lot of people still think this can be resolved peacefully. I think it’s naive at best, but we’ll see what gives first. Trump’s most trusted and loyal henchmen, or people’s belief that there’s something good left in the republican party, ‘cause that’ s what a peaceful resolution will depend on. Nothing will change even if every democratic official grows a spine. At this point, everything hangs on Trump’s inner circle.

It’s not like the irish, italians or the danish are ethnically pure. Some bloke on my fathers side came to Denmark from Germany in the 1800s, and before that, one of his ancestors came from france, and before that from Rome. Same shit on my mothers side.
My point is, it’s not like european countries are monoethnic. So why don’t we view someone from Texas, as ethnically texan, when their ancestry probably dates back to 1700s Texas?
It’s just a very foreign thing for us eurooeans. If we’re born in Italy, but some grandparent was born in Germany, we don’t consider ourself to be german in any way. We’d consider ourself italian and nothing else. It just seems so incredibly odd to even consider oneself to be german if you didn’t spend time growing up in Germany.
I didn’t like the lack of apps back then, but now my used apps are very limited anyway, so I probably wouldn’t really mind. Everything else about it was decently good.
