Came here looking for this comment. Far better to compare individual impact to net rating when their overall teams are so diametrically opposite.

Because OP left out the second half of DeRozan’s quote, it seems like he is mostly upset about respect for the game, but it’s about the Bulls’ general performance.
“I can’t fake it. I’m beyond frustrated. And I think it’s rightfully so as a competitor,” DeRozan said. “Everybody in this locker room is frustrated. It’s from a good place of being a competitor and wanting to figure it out that badly. Put a couple wins together. I really truly believe that can shift everything for us.”
Points per game is not the best measure of offense, offensive rating is. According to nba.com we’re at 20th, at 112.1, and are actually down from last year (13th, 114.6).
We’re fifth in fast break points, but our halfcourt offense remains terrible… A week ago it was the worst halfcourt offense since the Process 76ers.
I don’t know if you’ve watched every game but although the ball is moving, we have piles of scoring droughts, and had another bad one last night in the fourth quarter.
Idk but I don’t think they’ll be able to sweep it under the rug. On twitter he’s still trending with 115k posts. Joe Biden has 99k.
They only scheduled 80 games iirc. The other two games get scheduled for knockout round week.
But apparently in the NBA, talent shouldn’t be given recognition unless you’re under 30.
Which over 30 year olds do you think should have won the MVP instead of the actual winners over the last 10 years?
Overpaid ≠ overrated
God I fucking love Jimmy Butler
Not really. The Wolves have two legit offensive stars. Probably closer to the 1999 Spurs with the twin towers and #1 D, but even they didn’t have an Ant. You’re basically you’re own thing.
It’s still weird. He’s 16th in the NBA in paint touches, ahead of Embiid, Porzingis, and Zion. For him to have attempted 3 free throws in 9 games as a centre is comical.
I don’t believe this quote shows Adam Silver loves the game. He wants to emulate the NFL because the NFL generates even more money than the NBA. On the pod he said:
”I see my goal as helping the league… to become more NFL-like”
Say what you want about Goodell but he has said absolutely not to jersey ads. Meanwhile Silver is out here selling ads on jerseys, the entire court, sidelines, stanchions, he is shilling underwear, gambling, literally everything he does is trying to boost revenues.
Anyone tried this with the Quest 3? Wondering what the experience is like these days, thinking of grabbing one
Looks like you made a list of players that are widely disliked or criticized and want to see them succeed, and another list of players that are widely liked and want to see them fail. With some exceptions to throw people off.
I hope santa answers letters from edgy contrarians who don’t know what a superstar is
