Stats are numbers abstracting out a quantity determined by observation and propositional logic. They are only so accurate when considering the totality of a nba player’s impact.
Crabs gonna crab. 19 to 17 is extremely normal, and it’s a sad state of affairs that this is getting any oxygen at all
Rockets are kinda good its fine
He legit created a new nba move that actually works (it just makes sense to my brain that blocking the view of the rim will throw off a shooter, and if you can’t get there in time its better than nothing). All it will take is for at least one or two players to pull this out of their bag at some point in the future and it will be written
I see that secondary theatrical extended movement is no longer a thing
It is too many threes though
In front of the museum will be a statue of lebron dunking over a shark
This is the contract that showed just how out of control nba money is
Coaches are the biggest X-factor for any team. I guess everyone “knows” this, but many teams still for some reason treat coaches like they are expendable. They get thrown under the bus as a scapegoat in a lackluster year, or because of pressure from their clueless fans.
And mediocre coaches with strong rosters keep teams in purgatory, since they get all the credit. It’s the weirdest dynamic. It’s like no team can figure out if a coach is actually good or not, and just make impulsive decisions solely based on the W-L column.
It was monumentally stupid for the Raptors to can Nurse, as it was for the Bucks to fire Budenholzer. Celtics losing Udoka was for different reasons, but I think they also won’t get over the hump with Mazzula at the helm, despite their roster “upgrade.”
Sixers needed to pay a top-tier coach like 5 years ago, it’s exciting to see what Embiid does with that
Obviously didn’t watch Robert Horry play
the thirst is real
