It’s games like this that Tatum is showing he is not a true superstar in this league. He is not consistent in big moments like key matchups against another MVP candidate.

Geesus!!! James Harden was really so bad he is making the Sixers look very competent. I hate the Sixers but I have to give them a lot of credit.

This team without Doc and Harden reminds me of when Forrest Gump broke out of his leg braces.

    They. Are. Running.

I think I’ve seen enough Celtics games to conclude that Mazzulla ball is basically a game of slinging 3 balls.

Lotta people on the sub were like: “it’s a toss up” It’s really not like, We know what this team is in the regular season and we also know what happens when they play the heat in the playoffs.

They won once and then they lost a game 7 when their best player got injured on the first play of the game?

Coaches are the biggest X-factor for any team. I guess everyone “knows” this, but many teams still for some reason treat coaches like they are expendable. They get thrown under the bus as a scapegoat in a lackluster year, or because of pressure from their clueless fans.

And mediocre coaches with strong rosters keep teams in purgatory, since they get all the credit. It’s the weirdest dynamic. It’s like no team can figure out if a coach is actually good or not, and just make impulsive decisions solely based on the W-L column.

It was monumentally stupid for the Raptors to can Nurse, as it was for the Bucks to fire Budenholzer. Celtics losing Udoka was for different reasons, but I think they also won’t get over the hump with Mazzula at the helm, despite their roster “upgrade.”

Sixers needed to pay a top-tier coach like 5 years ago, it’s exciting to see what Embiid does with that

The Celtics lost because they missed every shot they took for 46 minutes, including KP missing 2 point blank dunks. That being said, when Embiid runs directly over Derrick white who is just standing still and white gets called for a foul, it does make you wonder what needs to happen for him to get a whistle against him

classic sixers almost blowing a game that should have been put away with 2 minutes to go. jayson tatum and jaylen brown hitting every big bucket in the last 2 minutes no matter how bad they’ve played until that point is inevitable. glad we held on
