There would be backlash from the executive branch for even attempting, it’d be political suicide. Another thing is trying to end the War on Drugs, started by Reagan. To even get people removed from certain seats of power, is going to require their way of voting and good luck getting everyone on board to do that. Everyone will fight tooth and nail to retain seats.

Personally, as an overnight worker, I’m glad it ended. I miss being able to shop peacefully but, better safe than convenient.

We need an Independent president, but people are too scared to even try because they’re eternally locked into the two-party system, even though, both parties have systematically let the people down over and over and over again. When was the last time we had an Independent president? Oh, some 170+ years ago.
