Making a strong bid for an all star slot in the West
I’m a very big Sengun fan but how realistic is this? Jokic AD are basically locks then there’s Sabonis and KAT.

Vasilije Micic (Euroleague MVP drafted to OKC) - 6’5”
I have no idea what the expectation was for this guy in his rookie season
Your profile says active in r/nba but you must not have been here for the past 2 years lol
I’m all for it and love the pod (got into it recently and have been listening to an ep a day), but how is it a genius business move?
Are they really making that much on it? They do throw a handful of ads in there (Postmates, prizepicks, betterhelp, whatever else) but are those contracts actually very lucrative given his moderately low listener count?
Jackie annoys me sometimes though. At times he comes off like he legit knows nothing about basketball and has shit written for him.
Maturing is realizing that Scott Foster is actually the good guy when it comes to Chris Paul.
When you’ve been a player as long as Coca Cola, it literally does not matter.
With these mega-companies, it’s all about market share. I listened to a podcast earlier where Steve Ballmer talked about how they were plenty of other word processors on the scene when they launched Microsoft Word and it was just a matter of outlasting and outperforming them. Look at where it is now. The Microsoft guys didn’t solve any problems that weren’t already solved, but rode it out (with the help of heavy investment in IBM) until they were the last one standing.
Is this why “20 points on 20 shots is not efficient” despite being a 50% FG rate?
Because most players scoring 20 would have a mix or 2s and 3s, which should require less shots to reach 20? Whereas 20 points on 20 2s attempted would be fine?
Saddiq is a hooper it’s definitely 100% about him
Shoutout to Statmuse
No thanks lol
Well provided the details in your post, there’s actually 3. LeBron and 2 others
Damontas ‘Kevin Durant’ Sabonis
Yea and his rate is crazy. Broke the franchise record with 60+ makes in a row, don’t know how long it went on though
This comment de-aged me.
Try a somersault!
2019 -> 2023 is a “few years” to me, it’s only 4 years lol
4, which falls under “a few” for me. One = 1, two = 2 or a couple, 3 or 4 = a few and anything beyond is a different timeline lol
Not a chance in hell lol PG was 3rd in MVP voting a few years back and Mobley hasn’t even been an all star
I would have taken this to the grave.
r/nba PROMISED me that Trae is not even top 100 at his own position
I rarely vote myself so I’m always forgetting it’s just front/backcourt. So very good point on all of that.
A few points, not really arguments just observations after you enlightened me a bit. I don’t agree with it, but it sounds like a lot of people might be voting PG in as a guard which opens up some votes for others so it can only help his case.
I think Kawhi gets votes off legacy, especially since he’s seemingly healthy this year. Lauri and BI need to play better but have the ability to do so like you said (I personally have Lauri > Alperen=BI).
And even though they’re not doing super well, always have to be wary of GSW/LAL frontcourt votes.
But all that aside, you’ve convinced me that Alperen has a realistic shot of getting in (imo probably as a replacement rather than an actual vote in but he wouldn’t be far off if that)
