Since Saddiq Bey was traded on February 12th, 2023 the Pistons finished that season 2-23, with both wins coming against the Indiana Pacers. They have started 2-10 this season, with wins against the Hornets and Bulls.
Obviously this isn’t about Saddiq but it’s a wild stat nonetheless.
Lol, Imma guess that they were probably 4-33 in the games before the trade too.
That’s really wild. Hope they turn it around soon.
They really traded Bey for James Wiseman
That’s what happens when your starting backcourt is Cade and Killian Hayes, 32-year-old Alec Burks has been their best guard
I didn’t peep this stat… idk if most NBA analysts did either because this is bottom of the barrel sad 🫠
Someone needs to tell me unironically why their roster is the way it is. Cade, Ivey, and Duran have big upside. But we are being subjected to 30 minutes a night of Killian Hayes and Beef Stew. It ruins the games flow and spacing. Monty needs to explain himself.
Bojan missed a lot of these games for what it’s worth. Really wish Weaver wasn’t so into bigs and busted former lottery picks though 😩
it goes as planned tho
They could do better at putting the ball in the hoop and that defense thing.
Asuar could be on the all-defense team as a rookie, which is a bright spot for them. He is already one of the best perimeter defenders this season.
I’ve been a big Saddiq Bey fan since 2021 when I was watching different rookies play when trying to build arguments for why Jae’Sean Tate should be All Rookie First Team. My conclusion on Bey was that he did the things winning players do and there was no argument against him really.
I was really surprised when the Pistons traded him.
Cade and Lamelo really got some of the worst rotations I’ve seen for young stars
Not like they were setting the world on fire at 15-42 before 🤷♂️
They even lost the new draft lottery falling from 1st to 5th.
Who does that help, exactly?
I think that knowing how things look at this point, other than if they got Wembanyama, the Pistons might have taken Ausar with even the #2 pick anyway.
There’s a subreddit called r/PovertyPistons and it’s honestly hilarious of the amount of hate you need to make something like that but how true it is at the same time
Yeah Saddiq Bey made a difference 😂 that 2021 draft really got under these thunder raptors rockets and cavs fanboys skin 😂😂💀
