Why would the hornets trade him?
Why would the hornets trade him?
Jokic scored on the second play after the block but the third play was hilarious. It looked like completely normal defense and Jokic complained so much afterwards lol
I have no idea why Wemby fades away on so many shots
It’s probably just because most basketball players in general are white but most elite basketball players are black. So there’s way more white former players trying to get into broadcasting than black ones.
Holy crap OKC fans have been annoying about this
It’s honestly crazy how trash we are at getting rebounds after free throw misses
Those teams made those trades because that’s the most any team was willing to give them.
I remember when Derrick got traded, tons of people acted like the celtics overpaid. Spurs fans knew he was a really good player but no team would give us more for him even though I thought at the time he was worth more. Also worth noting that the celtics were like the 14th best team in the league when the trade was made. They moved up to tied for 6th best and the pick could’ve been anywhere from 23-25.
Spurs game threads have been so bad this year. Constant trashing of every spurs player other than Devin and Wemby and Pop.
Our team was obviously going to be bad this year. All we did in the offseason was take bad contracts for picks and we had one real point guard on the roster
I feel like a solid third to half of the thunder steals have just been insanely bad passes
I mean that sucks but it’s obviously a foul on Conley
Dang too bad. Really feel we would’ve won this if the refs didn’t constantly miss fouls the heat were committing, plus Butler drew a couple BS foul shots. The refs blatantly favored the heat this game
It’s like Wemby changes 2K to rookie mode in the fourth quarter. It’s so weird how much better he plays in the fourth
Wemby was obviously fouled there. The heat are getting such a better whistle this game it’s fucking ridiculous
And another bad call, Richardson hit the ball out we did not have possession lol
Robinson is like a less skilled on offense better on defense version of Jakob who plays with more physicality. Both suck at free throws, really good rebounders, great at sealing guys to let other guys score, etc.
It’s pretty crazy how we’ve missed almost every wide open 3
McDermott with back to back iffy at best calls against him
Wow what a flop by Brunson to draw the charge
Trey Lyles has had a weird career. Started off as a disappointing lottery pick, came to the spurs and completely bought in focusing almost only on rebounding. Struggled some the next year and lost basically all his minutes then requested a trade which the spurs did but then the trade fell through and he missed the rest of the season due to an “injury” that was most likely the team and Trey agreeing to part ways.
Signed with Detroit, then traded to the kings where he did well. I’m not too surprised he’s done well, he was a good rebounder when he set his mind to it, could space the floor, and was skilled enough to occasionally take advantage of mismatches.
