Oh god the ruling is gonna stand because not enough evidence to reverse the call.

My interest in football waxes and wanes because of officiating and the league having greater agendas than just seeing which team is playing better.
It sucks knowing what these players put themselves through only to have things come down to a third party decision or lack thereof that can be as egregiously bad as possible and be played off as just the old “human error”.
I get that there always has to be an element of human error to it all, but there are many ways the NFL could help clean up the officiating, and they simply don’t do it.
KJ wright claims he knows how to stop the brotherly shove and that he’ll reveal it the week the seahawks play the eagles…
I don’t know whether hackett is a good coach or not. I know that in denver he had to deal with a QB that wanted to play like brady and forced his way out of seattle for the opportunity and freedom to do so. I also know that as dysfunctional as the broncos were last year, sean payton had an even worse start. The broncos have been able to turn it around a little bit, but hackett was not afforded the leeway, and payton had the benefit of dealing with a russell wilson that was far more coachable than he was last year when he thought he could play like brady or brees.
I also know that hackett has been playing with zach wilson and boyle on an oline that is plagued with injuries.
Is head coaching maybe too big for hackett to handle? Sure that could be true… but it seems like some people are trying to shift all the blame to hackett, when wilson was god awful last year, in an offense that he had a lot of say in designing, because he thought he could be a true pocket passing qb.
My favorite part is my grandma saying “tight butts drive me nuts” every 5 min.
I don’t think it was a mistake to try and give him a few games after rodgers went down… but they had all the opportunities in the world to try and go out and get someone like wentz or trade for dobbs or whatever other option.
At least give your team viable alternative options if you’re trying to compete.
There’s an underarmor crossover waiting to happen.
It’s weird how OP is framing this.
Especially the hackett part, considering Russell Wilson was directly responsible for all of the defensive points the jets scored lol.
Payton was also definitely wrong about the hackett situation in denver… they got to coach 2 different players. Hackett had a Wilson that thought he could play like brady and couldn’t even be coached by pete carroll at that point.
Wilson basically needed to have an awful season like he had last year, to get a reality check about his skillset, so that he could be coachable again.
Payton got to come in with authority… hackett never had any authority over wilson, and ownership had given wilson everything he wanted.
It’s like a slightly better version of the jets, but the offense has the same issues.
The combination of sloppy passes from allen + a lot of dropped passes even when he throws it accurately is just killer.
Who knew the greatest qb ever and the talent he attracts and hype he brings to a team could be significant.
Ryan should get in if people actually understand the game of football.
Mahomes and Rodgers are the only ones.
Imma give him a pass playing at that elevation with the flu.
That being said… if he was going to struggle that badly it’s up to andy reid to take him out and put in someone that isn’t so impaired.
I do believe teams give up on players prematurely all the time, but I also believe some players are just not it, and I don’t think Love is the type that is going to turn into something special later down the road.
Caleb is a soft diva…
