Qudelix 5K is probably your best option for versatility and function for now.

I don’t know about the XM5, but someone I know who has the XM4 was blown away by how KZ ZAS sounded with KZ’s bluetooth ear hooks. He spent a week raving to other sound nerds before getting a pair for himself.
ZAS has a bit too much bass for my ears without EQ adjustments. AS16 Pro has a more balances detailed sound.
The headphone is an ear bud… and the tips can be called many things.
🪽wingtips or simply a tip with a flange
The search function is not good, sometimes you have to search by song name rather than artist name to get the right results. Very weird.
The library is vast and the price is good.
What made you try KZ in the first place?
My thought was the QDC port would be the least like to break on me. I’m not gentle with my electrics.
I ordered from 5 different Aliexpress stores. KZ was one of them. All shipped on different days. 2 still haven’t left mainland China.
Eagerly awaiting positive reports on this.
I’d love to be able to drive them with bluetooth hooks KZ makes.
I’d want more energy efficiency from the next planar I get. Not enough improvement going from PR1 Pro to PR3 for me.
I don’t think they solved the energy requirement problem yet… so I’m with on this.
You “pre-ordered” a pair. They labeled that part in red to stand out extra from all their other website designs.
It’s not a scam. You snooze… you lose.
Logitech has been doing odd things since it was bought by a Private Equity company. They have a bunch of assets and other companies. Logitech may have just had the balance sheet strength/credit to do the acquisition on behalf of some other company in their portfolio of weird stuff.
Are any of your cans planar drivers? If so, how do they compare?
Is that a planar IEM?
Why expand? You won’t have time to use/listen to the ones you have now.
Because if you are on a budget, you are less likely to need an amp of some sort or amp/dac combo to properly drive a dynamic driver or balanced armature. Even Electrostatic drivers are easier to drive. That’s the only driver I’ve ever heard that needed a little warm up period. Like a minute or three.
Less power required = more budget friendly
I learned almost nothing useful about IEMs from here.
I learned a lot from Oratory1990
Don’t start with a planar driver as your first IEM.
You’re describing a religion
5.3! KZ gave us 5.2 Bluetooth in 2021.
Oh… yeah… you maybe noticing the loss of audio data from the audio being compressed.
What was the output source? Which iphone?
Please video tape your future experiments.
IEM = hearing aid technology
Get a hearing aid dehumidifier… borrow one from a senior citizen over night.
