We will always have leaders in some capacity. We are too wired to lead and to follow.

Yeah their banning system has become too aggressive. I’ve read quite a few stories like yours, where someone got a sitewide permaban, and if anybody else in the household happened to be using Reddit from that same network, they also caught the permaban on their own accounts too for ban evasion, even if their accounts had no connection whatsoever with the OP’s. It’s pretty ridiculous and they are becoming too ban happy like Facebook.

When you pick it up again, be sure to get the extra mission DLCs. They are well worth it and really do flesh out the story!
Control, in that the Board is really up to something that nobody can even begin to understand, and that the oldest house is not just a building on Earth that happens to connect to other realities and the astral world, but that Earth is actually one of those astral worlds…it’s just held in place by the collective will of humanity.

I’d argue that it was never designed for this much stimulation full stop. All the constant noise and things competing for attention all the time around you. Bad news is just the nasty icing on the cake.
With one important difference: Wine was often diluted back then and beer was not as strong as it is today, so it was much less dangerous on the whole, and it was so weak that even children drank it instead of the terrible water of the time. Though they also drank water when it was good.

The treatment of those with disabilities or who are just down on their luck, by the mostly apethic “I’m alright jack” public. I’ve had many arguments with those who thought that just because somebody needed benefits that they were milking the system.
The most disgusting and revolting thing I can read on the subject from somebody is “if I’ve managed to get by fine without state help and support, so can/should they”… And yes many do actually think this way, sometimes even to those who need wheelchairs or other aids.
Sometimes I’ve managed to convince them to care about somebody other than themleves for a change, sometimes I’ve caused them to go away thinking about it, and other times I’ve caused them to double down on their stance.
Either way, the engagements were meaningful and eye opening and I’ll defend this position until the day I die because nobody has any business being that disgusting towards other human beings.
