Idk about upper middle class and what you’re putting into those words (AP/VC/rolex/actually many watches from this list ain’t middle class), but I wear one just fine (actually at work too because this thing is unbreakable and I’m not worried about destroying it there) and I wasn’t beaten up yet. The only reaction I got is “wow interesting, I’ve never seen a Russian watch”
I see myself being downvoted for that, but I agree. Imo you should look at it like you’d look at art, not an actual watch. They’re impressive
Tissot is a great thing for it’s money. I got one of their automatic watches for like 300$ back in 2021 and I love it. It works good, never had problems with it (got a frederique constant gifted also in 2021 and this thing already has been at repair a year later), they even made a decorated rotor and a see through caseback. It also has 100m water resistance, calendar and lume on hands. I also own one quartz tissot and it’s nice too
