OG hates the Magic
They have a lot of interesting young talent, but they look clueless as to how to develop it.
I’m sure they’ll catch a team or 2 slipping before the end of the year, but man, they look awful.
Anthony Black and Andre Jackson Jr. should send thank you cards to Reath for taking that ❄️ for them.
He’s like ‘I’m going to say nothing, haha, that’ll get my point across’
‘Oh, they’re still waiting for me to say something… ummm, shit’
‘I’m going to have to make it clear what I’m doing - this is getting awkward’
“No comment is a comment, right?”
‘Yeah, smooth save’
Steph Curry shooting after he has stumbled or nearly lost the ball.
For a start, he’d have to definitively be the no.2 on the Thunder. He’s been that some games, but most games he’s been the 3rd or 4th option, and hasn’t clearly been the 2nd best player.
I’ll say Ausar, but I think the chances a rookie gets one are slim.
The kids going to be alright. I think a lot of people were out on him after his rookie year wasn’t up to expectations. But he’s extremely talented and deserves to be a top 3 pick.
He’s got more passing skills than he’s shown thus far. A strech big who is good on the glass and can pass well is a valuable player to any young team.
This is entirely why I am put out by the video ref being so inconsistent.
I get refs making mistakes sometimes - it happens. But when you have the opportunity to stop and correct your errors, and you still stand by your mistake, then something is fundamentally wrong.
Is this over the Sengun one?
That was dumb. It’s correct to the letter of the law, but I don’t think it’s in the spirit at all. That was not an over the top celebration, and Sengun was going to hang on the rim that long regardless because he had so much momentum.
Refs are on a wild one tonight. Compare this to the KD foul on Markannen that was overturned, ending the game. If even the video reviews are inconsistent, then the refs are just not doing their jobs properly
KG will never be my kind of talkshow/podcaster, but man, do I respect the hell out of him.
Not only is he one of the most positive “old-heads”, but he’s open about the fact he was wrong about a dude. Very few of the NBA media guys are so open in discussing how wrong they were. He clearly isn’t dissing him for his inefficiency or game play, but he has no time for a leader that has a bad attitude.
He’s fine in a limited role. Knicks couldn’t make use of that.
If his 3 pt% raises back up towards league average, he’ll be a really good pickup for the Pacers.
If you don’t like this - you don’t like NBA basketball!
Thanks squidpsyco for putting these reports together.
Jaime looking like a prototypical Heat guy.
Miles Bridges beating the Celtics like they’re an ex
Pfft, like the Sixers really needed a guy shooting over 50% from 3. Totally not something the team could use.
Man, it’s mid-November. Why are we starting the snark over the ROTY debate already?
Chet is amazing. No one should be denying that. Historically good in his first few weeks in the league. This video is an awesome showcase of that.
Just enjoy the show that he and Wemby put on till March, then we can talk about ROTY. As someone who has been high on both guys for years, I’m just loving watching these guys immediately make an impact on the league.
I don’t think they’ll move on. 2 guys the team drafted who became key cogs in a golden era for the club, winning 4 rings.
At this point, there’s no real point moving on. Neither Dray nor Klay would return you any great assets in a trade. You could let Klay walk in free agency, but I think the PR hit with fans, and players wouldn’t be worth the additional cap space. (They’d still be around the luxury tax point anyway)
The Kings are struggling and the Clippers are playing really well, yet somehow the Kings are still easier to watch.
So many possessions where the Clippers are all standing still
