If you are doing a white background then don’t add anything. Either bring it into the real world or try to do it studio like
Jesus christ. Why are you even bothering taking photos? Just generate an ai image for the customer.
There are no # on reddit
Get a cheap phone or old point and shoot and go into a snow storm.
I don’t really see the connection between the lens having a focus ring, needing any fixing and you not seeing that every picture is out of focus
Hard to say without examples.
1/200 depending on the genre seems low to me. For rock shows I usually do at least 1/500.
Are you on slinet shutter? If not you have to play with your shutter speed so you don’t get banding.
Again, hard to say what “not super clear” is.
You could surely do more than auto in editing, but it’s up to you.
You can shoot it with natural light, your friends in your backyard for around $20 which goes to buying snacks.
Or you can fly to another country, stay in a 5star hotel with 30 professional models, eat in fancy restaurants, have expensive clothes etc and you are paying a couple million for a shoot.
Nikon d5200 + kit + 50mm 1.8 (manual focus) + Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro (awful docrap lens btw)
2 years later -> sony a6400 + kit + 50mm 1.2 (full manual) + sony 55-210.
another 2 years later ->sony a7riii + sigma 28-70 2.8 + sony 70-200 f/4 + sony 50mm 1.8
A year later I sold the 50mm 1.8 and got a sony 85mm 1.8 + TTartisan 50mm 1.4 full manual tilt + samyang/rokinon 14mm 2.8.
Next step will be my largest one, selling the 70-200 f/4 for a 70-200 f/2.8 gm2
beside I got a canon 350d with sensor fungus + a faulty kit lens (can’t close the aperture) and an amazing pentax 50mm 1.7 converted to canon. Now looking to get rid of the camera and get a IR converted one.
For video you can use davinci resolve
Bring some bug spray, lots of water and some snack
Well, what kind of even? Probably not tho, 50mm is a bit too tight. A standard zoom would be nicer and maybe even a flash
That really depends on how good you are and how many photos you’ll have to shoot/for how long.
If it’s a large business I’d go for at least $200 an hour if not then something that they could afford Maybe around $50-100/hour.
Why would any park pay for your travel, lodging and rate to do the same job a local photographer can do? What can you offer that others can’t?
Your own website. If you want to sell photos… well you probably won’t. If you want to offer your services start with a portfolio and get your name out there. Sadly the best way is social media
They are mostly ex full time youtubers.
Most started out doing one or two videos and found success so they stopped doing the work part of photography
What a stupid advice. You don’t know what you don’t know. Of course there is no shortcut, you have to practice and shoot BUT you need to know what you want and what is possible and yourube is a great source. Sure people like Peter who are doing 95% entertainment and 5% teaching is not a useful source.
Tere are so many things you can only figure out by unlikely accidents…
I’m honestly asking what do you expect? What information did they not tell you? You asked a very vague question and got a vague answer. Just like I asked in my original comment, what do you want to know?
