What an odd ass basketball game. The end of the group stage of the In-Season Tournament is creating weird looking basketball. I’m calling this Picasso ball

Rotations might be bigger than 10. Injuries can happen and situations need to be managed.
He’s been a professional in a professional environment since he was 15 and trained to be a professional since then. That’ll obviously make some guys shy or less star-stuck
Nah, the cracks are their poor defense and sloppy turnovers/fouls. Those cracks are always there, whether Wiggins or Klay are playing well or not.
The Golden State Warriors are an undisciplined team whose veteran players are also responsible for that lack of discipline. When they won the 2022 NBA Championship, their core was able to make up for it. But when Wiggins and Thompson play like this, it makes the cracks much larger.
The goal is to think ahead. I don’t think the Spurs should give up on Sochan. And they’ll continue to tool and tinker with this roster.
Wembanyama takes so many threes because he’s gotten comfortable taking them and expecting his team to get it back. He took 5 a game for Metropolitans 92 last season. He’s gotta develop better habits because his team is gonna get less offensive rebounds, but that’ll happen in due time. I wouldn’t be sweating that right now
They only have 41.2 drives per game (4th worst behind 39.7 BOS, 37.2 DEN, 36.6 GSW), and they don’t do it enough in the 2nd half especially at the tail end of games. They’re not forcing the refs to blow the whistle.
That was a horrible sequence for Andrew Wiggins. Steph draws gravity, he can’t make his shot. Then he allows McDermott to blow by him. He needs to wake up
Those heavily managed minutes are where they struggle. And in clutch minutes, they also struggle at reacting to team sets after a timeout. Also, they’re not drawing enough fouls (9.3 per game in the 2nd half, 3rd lowest in NBA). They also struggle making 3s when they need them (.327,5th worst)

An example of a dude who won’t be in San Antonio two years from now
Podziemski loves drawing charges
Jonathan Kuminga has 1 point, at what point do the Warriors get impatient with him? Yes, he’s a project player, but he’s in his 3rd NBA season and was the 7th overall pick. He’s just not a reliable offensive weapon, and he’s error prone.
The way Tony Brothers looked at Dario Saric lmao
