  • Patrick - 27/34 for 298 yards and 2 TDs, 5 carries for 9 yards.

Allen - 29/51 for 339 Yards and 2 TDs, 1 Int, 9 Carries for 81 Yards and 2 Rushing TDs.

Stroud - 26/36 for 304 Yards and 2 TDs, 6 Carries for 47 Yards and 1 Rushing TD.

Trevor 23/38 for 368 Yards and 1 TD, 1 Int, 2 Carries for 1 Rushing TD.

Me personally, I would have given it to Allen or Stroud, but for sure Patrick Completion percentage was incredible on not as many passing attempts as others. He deserved it this week.

  • So here’s what really happened.

Warriors and Kings are both top 11 in Free throws attempted per game for the season, and Warriors also give up 3rd most free throws per game this season, while the Kings give up 9th most free throws.

What this was, was essentially two teams playing each other who can’t stop fouling others, and can’t stop getting fouled. If the Bucks and Sixers played each other and people complained about too many free throws then that’d be stupid lol. Those teams live at the line.

Still today had too many free throws, but when you put teams in bonus minutes into a quarter then obviously you’re gonna give up more free throws too.

  • The correct answer is that there are no superteams in the NBA at this moment.

How do you see the Clippers deal with a frontcourt of LeBron, AD, Wood, Vanderbilt, Rui, etc. Or Jokic, Gordon, MPJ, etc. Or even reliably guard Booker, Durant, Beal or Steph & the warriors.

Their PF depth is non existent rn, they might have to start old ass PJ tucker against big West Forwards. And the guard rotation of Westbrook, Harden, Mann, Hyland doesn’t give you much confidence about their POA defence either.

If healthy, they will score a lot of points, be top 3 offensively, and top 10-12 defensively in the regular season. But once playoff starts, I expect Denver or Lakers to beat them comfortably. (Really I expect Denver to beat everyone comfortably this year, but I will give a shot to Milwaukee if they can figure their shit out).

There are no superteams, just a bunch of really good teams fighting for 1 championship ring that already feels like Denver has one hand on.

  • Still a few more season debuts to go, but Duren, Lively, Tillman impressed me amongst the big men a lot, imposed themselves on the game, hustled and ran the floor hard.

As for my Nets obviously Cam Thomas looked great as an individual scorer, but then that’s something I have known since last season when he had 4 40 point games, just annoyed that my coach still refuses to start him or let him play on ball for majority of the time on court. Instead we keep running out Dinshittie who keeps bricking everything. Liked what I saw from Ben as a solid start 4/10/9/1 on just two turnovers isn’t half bad, I don’t care if he doesn’t score, just keep rebounding, assisting and defending.

Loved Okogie and Nurkic on the Suns, Porzingis shocked me because I didn’t expect that defensive impact (Dallas fans did him no justice, nor did Wizards fans). Underwhelmed by Ant and KAT season debuts, but OKC look ready for the leap, especially Shai.
